April Earth Theme

 We learned about the continents this month! We spent a day on each, sang our continent song and viewed a slide show with lots of pictures of that continent. We had some fun crafts to help us learn about the continents too. We also learned the ocean song! 

 

March Space Theme

This month (along with our regular preschool curriculum) we learned about planets, stars, and the phases of the moon! 

We used Oreos to make the moon phases and make a moon phase wheel. 

This is one my favorite art projects! 

We went on a little scavenger hunt for St. Patricks Day. They make pretty cute little leprechauns. 

We went on a fun preschool field to the library. We took a tour of the library, learned about how to take care of books, and had a little story time. Afterwards we went out for an ice cream cone. 

The space theme was a success! 

 

February Body Theme

We started February by celebrating Groundhogs day!

This month we learned about the body. We learned about our 5 senses and play a fun "guess that smell" game. 

We also celebrated Valentine's Day with a fun class party! 

We learned about bones and organs in our body. 

Hide and seek during play time! 

It was such a fun month learning about our bodies!
