We finished up our unit on seasons. This is our fall art project:

After our seasons unit we started another Our Earth unit, "continents." Here is Sam cutting out Europe:

Each day we practice our "continent song." They already have it down! It's pretty cool to listen to them sing all the continents. Four year olds. They know their continents. Pretty cool!

Along with a daily lesson centered around our theme (this month "Our Earth") we have a shape, letter, and numbers of the week. Here is Sam working on his weekly spotlight worksheet.

Look at Ayaa's name! Pretty good! So much improvement!

Here we are working on Asia and Africa:

I love my little preschool class!

Preschool Update

We have finished up our month theme of "The Alphabet" for March and are studying "Our Earth" for April. Some of the things we will be learning this month are seasons, continents, and oceans. It's going to be so much fun! I'm really excited for the curriculum this month.

In addition to a new theme we have started something else new in preschool. Because we learned all of our letters last month, we will focus on one letter a week from now on. Each week we have a letter, shape, and 3 numbers to review in addition to our morning routine.

Here is a look at what we've been up to at Bri's Bees:

Umbrella U, Vegetable V, Walrus W

X-Ray X

Yak Y

Zebra Z

After we finished learning each letter we hung it on the wall. Now we use long dowels to play a favorite game. One student gets the dowel and the other students make a letter sound. The student with the dowel has to point to the letter sounds we make. It's fun!
