This month's theme is shapes! As we continue to review alphabet and numbers, we are learning 13 different shapes. For each shape we learn we have a fun art project. The kids enjoy taking pictures of their finished art each preschool day.

Finishing Our Numbers Theme

Our September theme was numbers. We focused on recognizing numbers 1-20 and counting up to 50. I saw so much improvement from each student writing their numbers, recognizing them, counting, etc. During independent work time they are getting so much better at working quietly and staying focused on their task. They do a good amount of work for 4 years old and challenging them to reach the expectations I have given them has shown me how much they are really capable of. This is why I love teaching! It is great to see them learn and grow. Plus we have a lot of fun and laughs!
