December- MANNERS

This month we learned about manners. We learned how to show respect, be polite, take turns, and set a table. 

We also had some Christmas fun! 

 

November- SEASONS

This month we learned about seasons! We learned about Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. For each season we had a special box filled with seasonal clues. We pulled the clues all out of the box and dressed someone up and guessed which season he belonged in. This is Calvin, dressed up with our Winter box.

We had an indoor snowball fight for winter, too. 

We love to do "bug yoga" each day after circle time. We stretch and breathe and pretend to be bugs. 

We also learned about the first Thanksgiving in America and made little turkey costumes. Cutest turkeys ever! 

 

October- SHAPES

This month our theme was shapes. We worked on identifying and drawing each shape and learned a fun new song about shapes. We had some great shape art projects too. 

 

We went on a fun field trip to Black Island Farms. We went on a hayride together, picked pumpkins, and played in the courtyard. 

We also had a terrific Halloween party! The two Marios were too cute. 

 

A New Year at Bri's Bees!

We've started a new school year! We have the best class this year. They are a great group of kids! We focused on numbers and letters for August and September. We've also worked on names, phonics, and learned a few new songs. It's been a fun year so far!
