We Know the Seasons!

The end of November means finishing up another great theme. We learned all about shapes, and it was in fact, one of my favorite preschool months ever! We spent two days on each season. After our morning routine of calendar, weather, alphabet, numbers, and shapes we would learn about that season and have a fun "seasonal activity." We also learned a song about the seasons, which I recorded the kids singing and posted below. After the lesson it is snack time at the table. Next we worked on season worksheets and then art projects. We finish preschool with story time. It was a great month! Take a look below at some our fun!

 Fall addition worksheets

Here are our growing seeds that we planted when we learned about spring!

We went on a fall scavenger hunt outside one day to look for leaves. We learned how leaves in Arizona don't always change colors. (I bought a fall garland at the dollar store and cut leaves off of them and spread them in the front lawn so they could find some fun red and orange leaves).

 We made turkeys for Thanksgiving!

What would you see on a snowy day?

Elly practicing her name!

Braxton and Sam working on puzzles during playtime!

We had a snowball fight when we learned about winter. This was definitely their favorite!

They brought winter clothes to wear for the cottonball-- I mean snowball fight. :)
